Netball Tournament

On Tuesday 4th of August 2015,

Year 8 and 7 boys and girls including me from tamaki primary school went to a netball tournament held at AMI netball courts.

We arrived at the AMI courts at 9:00am. As we got out of the van, our eyes were peeled on different coloured school uniforms.

There was so many schools from this area in auckland and yes we wore blue skirts with our school shirt.

Our first game didn’t go well as we thought it would.We lost to Pt England but it was alright because we sticked together and we really didn’t care, only cause we got here to represent our school and play netball, not to win or to lose.

Few minutes went by and our break was over, our second game was against Kohi Marama. They were quick and fast,I really cant remember what happened but sadly we lost.

We ate and then started practising with sharon the office lady from our school.

Our next game was up against St hope I think and foreal we made this quick and fast we WON!. They were really kind and sweet even though we kept on making contact or pushing them over, they stayed fair with us.They were gracious losers as we stayed humble winners.

This was our first win and I was like screaming at the top of my lungs and hugging, skipping around like a nutty person.I do that a lot because I'm a child but I love being me.

We shaked there hands and cheered for each team,referee that was apart of our games including the teachers and coaches.

Our next game was our second a win, it was just absolute amazing.We tried our best and together we won, that all we ever needed.

Hooray we WIN!!!

#7 Brains Riddle Thursday

Hi bloggers and non-bloggers,

I know I forgot about this again and yes I am making up for that today on a Friday.


Last week's riddle: Tuesday, Sam and Peter went to a restaurant to eat lunch. After eating lunch, they paid the bill. But Sam and Peter did not pay the bill, so who did?

Friend Teina Answer: There friend Tuesday


Friend Lauren Answer: No one, oh wait's Tuesday.

These were really quick answers coming from my friends, now since they helped us.
Let's see if they can explain to us our they got there answer.

Teina Answer: Tuesday is a day but this friend was named Tuesday, so Tuesday was one of their friends who paid the restaurant bill.


Lauren Answer: I read it and it didn't say on Tuesday but a character Tuesday. So Tuesday was the one to pay the bill because Sam and Peter didn't.

July Is Here!!!

Finally July is here and we are running with blog post at the start of the month.
Hopefully most of us post about our holidays and what we have been doing.
Wow looking at this months I just can not wait until Christmas which is far from now.

Okay since it's July I think it's still Winter because it's freezing outside.
Two more day of school then 2 weeks of excitement.
Yeah two weeks of holiday which is alright but no that long so okay.
Lets see the days of July,



Wow we get back to school at the 20th of July so yeah it goes pretty fast.
I hope you enjoy the year of my blogging and I hope you have fun in the holidays.

How was school is a question my parents always ask me,It's a normal question I get asked many times and my reply is "it's alright" or "Great",even okay.

Me: Okay

How was school I 'll explain to you how was school,

First we Started off  with Measurement as in "Maths",I finished the work but now I can't remember what we did.

Next on our list was Reading,Oh my gosh I love Reading,I reckon I'm better at Reading than my other subjects,We had to do our DLO(Digital Learning Object) about an ancient Myth or Legend,It was fun for me but not for you .

After We had Our Running Log,We run 2 laps around the bike track,Timing how fast we run around that whole 2 laps.

Oh when we get back from our lunch time, we have Teachers read, with milk ordered just for us I think.So while Miss Aireen reads we all get milk to drink while she reads to us,The good thing about it is that we recycle them my folding the milk box in a small shape.Easy Way

My Art Teacher,planned for us to do an Art work related to our inquiry topic called Myth's and Legends from all over the world. But we started of with the God of sea that can transform himself to any creature in the sea he could be.We drawled a body outline of a hammerhead shark and did koru patterns inside of the outlines cause that myth came from a certain country called New Zealand where in Aotearoa.
